The agency was founded on the core premise of “media ideas, artfully told” and was born out of a desire for a confidential, bespoke advertising network focused solely on creating iconic work for our only client.
Today, our relationship with Apple is approaching 40 years old and Media Arts Lab now has six hub offices around the world managing advertising in 20+ markets.
■Purpose of the role
The Account Supervisor will help to oversee the account management function and lead the day-to-day operational execution of all projects across designated pods and ongoing projects.
Oversee project activity across specified pods and facilitate the members of the account management department in the flawless execution of the localisation, amplification and origination process so that campaigns are delivered in accordance with the campaign strategy and to the high standard expected by MAL and our client.
Definition of 3 types of work:
・Localisation: Adaptation of global creative to address legal, comprehension, and/or cultural issues; meant to ensure all ideas can run globally.
・Amplification: Global creative platform adapted to address a local business problem or opportunity.
・Origination: Bespoke local campaign to address a local business problem or opportunity.

Reporting to: Account Director
・Understanding of advertising media in Japan.
・Strong analytical skills.
・Strong organisational skills.
・Resourcefulness and problem-solving abilities.
・Proactive attitude and a team player must.
・Ability to train and motivate junior member of the team.
・Ability to work well on multiple projects.
・Understanding of essentials to social currency, namely music, youth and technology.
・Experience in advertising or marketing, international experience preferred.
・Excellent written and oral communication skills.
